In 2007 Blue Byrd Tattoo purchased this new location for the growth of our studio. 3 times larger than our old Brown st. studio that opened its doors in the summer of 2000. We then made the move that set our company as a permanent Dayton fixture when the doors closed at Brown st and re-opened in the summer of 2007 at Wayne ave. we have a large and relaxing environment at our new studio. our artist are all custom orientated so from your idea to any design found we are ready to exceed your expectations of design, finished product and a positive friendly visit. Opened in the summer of 2001, Blue Byrd Middletown was our second adventure. Owner David Klaiber found that a large number of his clients traveled north to Dayton from as far south as Cincinnati. The Response was immediate. Our Middletown location has been a hit since its first day open. More than just weathering the ups and downs of our countries economic woes our south locations has prospered while all others in the area have failed. We are the longest standing Tattoo studio in the area. receiving clients from all over as far as Cinn, Oxford, Eaton, Lebanon, Centerville and further. Owner David Klaiber personal note on the clients in this area are " Very friendly, always bringing us the best ideas, the creativity and expressive nature in Middletowns clients make it easy for us to fill our day with amazing tattoo's." As of August 8th 2014, Jon Gearheart has taken the helm and is the new legacy owner of our Middletown studio. Jon Was mentored and trained by Blue Byrd founder David Klaiber & in a great and older tradition has been given his own ship to sail on Blue Byrd Tattoo studios adventures.
